Hi, my name is Magdalena! I am a property investor and the founder of Urban Island Property, which is a property investment company with a purpose. We work with private investors and purchase tired properties below market value and increase their value by converting them into modern co-living homes that promote well-being, sustainability, and incorporate technology. My property journey began in 2020 when my husband and I purchased a maisonette in West London that needed refurbishment. I took on the project management and design of the property, which was eventually valued higher than any similar property sold in the area. Prior into going into property development full-time, I worked in accountancy and revenue management for the past 13 years. I have a solid financial background and graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in applied accounting. As much as I enjoy number crunching, I also have a passion for interior design, nature, and travel. I am responsible for the daily operations of the business, which includes deal sourcing, investor relations, and operations.
